Metalmorphosis & Innovation, the 2025 MPE AGM and Conference, welcomed a record-breaking number of participants, building on the strong momentum of our 2024 event. It was a dynamic and collaborative gathering where ideas converged, partnerships deepened, and a shared vision for the future of metal packaging took shape.
A key theme throughout the event was bridging sectors, connecting ideas, and translating policy into action. We explored how innovation can not only address today’s challenges but also anticipate tomorrow’s needs. MPE President Paulo Sousa set an inspiring tone with his opening remarks: “Steel and aluminium were born for circularity,” underscoring the pivotal role metal packaging plays in advancing a truly circular economy.
The most impactful MPE event to date set a new benchmark for the future, bringing together over 166 participants, including members, suppliers, customers, government representatives, and stakeholders from across the value chain. Highlights included 20 expert speakers, 9 innovation showcases, 4 engaging panels and many memorable moments of connection and celebration.
In 2026, we will welcome MPE members to the dynamic German city of Berlin on June 11th and 12th.
